McDole Families and staff are invited to join us for an evening of fun! Cheer on the K-5th grade students while they compete in an UNO tournament. Prizes will be awarded to the tournament winners! In addition to the tournament, we will have board & card games available to play, Open Gym after the tournament, and snacks. Students will have an opportunity to earn McDole Moolah by completing a scavenger hunt in celebration of Black History Month!

The McDole PTO is excited to announce Multicultural Night on Friday, January 26, from 6-8pm, in the McDole Multipurpose Room! Families and staff are invited to celebrate countries around the world on this special free-of-charge evening. Families, please sign up to host a table about the country of your choice! We are also looking for family members and staff of all ability levels who are interested in doing a cultural performance in the Multipurpose Room during the event! This could be dance from any country, singing in any language, poetry in any language, reading a storybook out loud related to any culture, playing an instrument, demonstrating an activity like Chinese Yo-Yo's, just to name a few!

On Monday, October 30th, Panera at 1330 Orchard Rd, Aurora, will generously contribute 20% of sales to the McDole PTO all day! All you need to do is either use the code FUND4U at online checkout or mention the code when making your in-person purchase.

McDole PTO is back with our 3rd annual Trunk or Treat! Dress your family in their spookiest, cutest, or funniest costumes and join us in the McDole lot on Saturday, October 21st from 4-6pm for some trick or treating fun. We are looking for volunteers to help make this event awesome. If you are willing to show off your crafty, creative side and help us out by decorating a trunk please sign up at this link.

Bring in your pumpkin decorated with a book theme, on October 13, for entry in the pumpkin decorating contest in the school library! No carved pumpkins, as the pumpkins will be sitting indoors for a week during the voting. Real and artificial pumpkins accepted!

Students are invited to donate a bag of Halloween candy on their way into school on the morning of October 2! Candy goes into the “Candy Monster” and is used for the Trunk or Treat event on Saturday, Octobert 21!

We are gearing up to bring back a much loved McDole PTO fundraiser, the Fun Run! This event will take place during the school day and family members are invited to come cheer on the students!  Please note, if it rains this event will be held in the gym.  Family members will be able to cheer on students from the gym stage. In order to help this event run smoothly, we're in need of some awesome volunteers.  Please see the SignUp Genius for a list of class times and volunteer opportunities.  We're also looking for parents wanting to dress up and help add some EXTRA FUN to the Fun Run.  

Let's wrap up the summer with a sweet treat and some fun! Join us for an end-of-summer ice cream fundraiser at the Foxmoor Pier.  Foxy's Ice Cream Truck will be rolling up to the Foxmoor Pier on Simpson Parkway on Monday, September 25th from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. The best part? Foxy's is generously giving back - 10% of all truck sales will go straight to McDole PTO!  Bring the family, enjoy some delicious ice cream, and support our school.
